Asylum 1

[Context: I wrote this in a minecraft book while listening to the Mind Electric. There are 3 more books and they are not part of a complete series. There will be very few complete works on this page/blog/thing]

“You know there are monsters here.” He said it so matter of factly that it took you more than a moment to process what he said. He laughed and pointed at his own head. “Apart from the other ones in here.” He walked with me down the cold white halls. “Most of them tell me to cower in fear, but the braver ones tell me to chop off the Beast’s head.” He made me nervous. He knew it too. He laughed again. “The Beast is the lord of all the monsters here. He tells them how to torture and pray.” You walked, wordlessly. The hallway did seem to stretch for forever. Maybe the monsters made it that way. 

“Did the monster’s make this place endless?” The boy smirked. 

“The monster’s change the size by the person. To you it may be endless but to 𝕮⃦̳̿𝖊⃦̳̿𝖑⃦̳̿𝖎⃦̳̿𝖆⃦̳̿ it’s like touching two walls.” You weren’t sure what he meant, but you nodded your head and pretended to know what he was saying.

Pretended to know what was going on.

Pretended to know where you were.

What was happening to you.

Who you were.

Another thing forgotten.

he lets me grow and learn he teaches me patience and the value of dawn and dusk he dries my tears and mends my wounds

yet he makes me tired and weak he forces away lovers and depreciates my memories he knows of his infinity and leaves me to die

time is kind but he is cruel.
