One of the many things I like in Harry Potter is the mentioning of how difficult it is to have eyeglasses and bad eyesight; Like, that time when they have a quidditch match and it's raining very hard, so Hermione has to use a spell on Harry's eyeglasses to stop it from fogging up, and also the many times Rowling had mention about Harry not being able to see when he wakes up 'cause he has no glasses.

So yep, as someone who wears glasses, that's one point for the series.
