Sadly his Disney TVA pilot for a potential Disney Channel series was rejected this year in favor of 4 new NDA animated series (2 for Disney Junior and 2 for Disney Channel).
Another reason that Eboli hinted is that Disney higher ups now want to follow Warner Bros Discovery/Cartoon Network's steps of just wanting reboots/spin-offs of pre-existing Disney Television Animation IPs. "I can say here that the project I was working on for almost 4 years that got passed on was indeed for the House of Mouse, like some people guessed correctly, and this one had me a little more heartbroken than usual, it was a great, simple comedic concept that everyone loved, & we made the best dang pilot I've ever been involved in. Still, "no more original IPs for now, just to clarify, this is not some finger wagging post or anything like that. I really dig the execs we worked with, and they were just as heartbroken as us to see this go. It's where the industry is now that SUCKS.
