The series was about two chicano siblings moving to their grandparents house and having a culture crash with their culture, family and community.
"It was about two suburban siblings who move into their grandparents house in Boyle Heights, with the sudden culture crash, they all learn about their family, culture, and technology. What attracted me the most about this project was having the freedom to tell stories the way we want to tell them, with our own voice (mostly Dave’s). I got to work with some of the best people in this industry, from production, development, storyboards and design. It was fun exploring different styles and mashing a bunch of other super talented artist designs into one. You’ll see my explorations, and influences." - Puga

Congratulations to the talented Layron DeJarnette in being hired for a brand new NDA project for Disney Television Animation.
DeJarnette previously worked at "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" as character desinger.
Which one will be? The recent projects revealed via SAG-AFTRA's website (Suburbion, Fuzz, Artemis Fowl, Tinker Bell & The Glitter City, Darkwing Duck, ToonTown: Shorts or the recently announced Journey) I guess time will tell.

Durante un tiempo tuve una cuenta de arte dedicada a Hailey's on it una serie de Disney TVA que fue lamentablemente cancelada en su primera y única temporada, cuando el episodio final tenia un cliffhanger... (」°ロ°)」
Ese verano del 2024 fue una de las etapas más increíbles de mi vida (˶>⩊<˶) no solo porque fue la primera vez que mostré mi arte a un publico tan masivo (a diferencia de mostrárselo a mis padres, profesores o compañeros de clase) fue más el sentido de haber formado parte de una comunidad („• ֊ •„) que, aunque pequeña, me hizo conectar con personas tan cálidas y talentosas a pesar de la barrera del idioma, si porque curiosamente me metí en la comunidad anglo 😹
Mentiría si dijera que fue una serie perfecta (ᵕ—ᴗ—)🥀... hubo muchas tramas desaprovechadas, huecos de guion, clichés, etcétera 😅. En si era una combinación de ver los primeros episodios de The Owl House junto al formato de sitcom episódico de Amphibia; con pocos brillos de seguir un hilo narrativo (¬_¬"), más en los últimos episodios donde se veía una clara intención de que en la siguiente temporada se daría un giro de tuerca con la subtrama romántica entre los protagonistas; donde al fin Scott mostraría un interés por Hailey, tomando en cuenta que su dinámica era solo de "mejores amigos" (¬⤙¬ ) e incluso indagar el indagar en quién fue el creador de los robots (villanos principales) en primer lugar...
Lo más triste quizá es que parte de es la imposibilidad para revivir la serie ( ˶°ㅁ°) !! se deba a que aquellos que trabajaron en ella ya están en otros proyectos, no solo hablo de los creadores como tal sino también de: storyboarders, animadores, diseñadores de personajes, artistas de fondos y guionistas que aparte de ya ser despreciados en una industria tan injusta como lo es la animación ٩(ˋᗣˊ*)و ya ni siquiera es posible ver la serie de forma legal tras su eliminación de Disney+ aquel fatídico 27 de septiembre de 2024 (╥ ᴗ ╥)
(˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) Gracias Hailey's on it por enseñarme lo que es que el arte aunque no tenga un reconocimiento gigante es valioso con ya solo haber marcado la vida de una persona (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

Disney Television Animation Hires Former Walt Disney Imagineering SVP of Digital Media and Production David Kalbeitzer As Innovation Team Production Executive.

Disney Television Animation has hired David Kalbeitzer (Walt Disney Imagineering SVP of Digital Media and Production) as Production Executive at their Innovation Team.
David Kalbeitzer will oversee the production flow of current shows, movies, recently greenlit series and pilots at the studio. Before joining Imagineering, Kalbeitzer worked at Dreamworks Animation and Sony Pictures Animation in films like "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron", "The Road to El Dorado", "The Prince of Egypt", "Hotel Transylvania", "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs" & "Surf's Up". Additionaly he worked as Digital Producer at Sony Pictures Imageworks on movies like"The Spectacular Spiderman" and was VFX Effects Producer for the Walt Disney Studios film "Force G".
During his time at Imagineering, David oversaw the VFX Effects for the lands "Pandora: The World Of AVATAR", "Star Wars: Rise Of The Resistance", "Avengers Campus" as well "Zootopia Land" for Shangai Disneyland and "The World of Frozen" for Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris.
