Well, so I guess I perceived my grandma as doing better because she was sitting and writing to communicate, but yesterday the doctors told us there was no hope for her to ever breathe on her own again.  So we are going to have to take her off the ventilator in the next few days because she has a D.N.R.  :(  I'm really sad about it.  But thanks for checking in babe.

just read about your grandparents I hope they get better & i'll keep them in my prayers I went thru something a little like that last year

thanks babe.  It means a lot to me.  I went to see them both this morning in the hospital, like I do every day.  He let me feed him his lunch even though he was having a hard time staying awake.  And they had my grandma's bed set to sit up so she was up and she wanted to talk, but can't because of her respirator, so she asked me for something to write with, and she was writing and communicating with me.  That was the first communication since last Thursday.  So, I was really proud of her. :D
