Guilty White Sports

Political correctness is a liberal agenda being pushed around. And I am a moderate. I keep an open mind which allows me to see how the world is really being ran. And I didn't want to believe in white guilt until I really started to open my eyes to it. And I do see a trend of over compensation by white america to undo the wrongs their people have done over decades and generations. And their battles are the petty, little things we cherish. Especially in Sports. From "racist", outdated team names to logos. White guilt is driving people; the younger white generation, to apologize for their ancestors wrong doings. So here they are, trying to fix everything. but it's causing them to pry in things that don't matter or are big enough to bring negative attention to.

So ask yourself this, why?

Why is the white guilt social stigma leaking into sports? Isn't sports suppose to be a portal to a world where nothing else matters but the 3 hours of pride, heavy drinking, and fun? Well, let's take a look at the trigger; the opening for the Guilt trip to leak into sports. BASEBALL!! Yes, the steroids era. All of those reports of these athletes doing illegal things to have an advantage in a game. It was all written in a book, which caused a massive guilt trip to the baseball snobs. They then made it a priority to fix this by singling out the heavy hitters (pun intended) who were breaking their sacred records while using HGH.

It was reported days; which turned into weeks. And before we knew it; this story became a topic of discussion as a new aspect of baseball. It was forced into our minds to think about that negative aspect of the game we use to just watch without care. All we get are people who are forced into feeling bad about something they never viewed as offensive before. And they get brainwashed into white guilt. You now feel guilty for watching a sport that is now being demonized. Where you now look at the players and wonder who is juicing and who isn't. Now, I'm going to tie this all together.

After the baseball steroids era. People started to bring up other sports and their issues. Now, people are wide awake when they look at all sports. So, someone thought this was the perfect opportunity to bring up the Washington Redskins name. Someone declared that "Redskins" name is offensive. White Guilt has now expanded from illegal activity in sports to racial stereotypes with teams. Not just the redskins, but all of a sudden, every team that has a native american influence was targets. Indians, Braves, Seminoles, etc. People actually filed petitions to remove all Native American names from all sports teams. Both college and professional.

With the white guilt agenda being pushed. And not understanding how society works. All I see today as a 31 year old male is that everyone today wants to have a voice. They want to feel like they are making a difference in this world. And they don't care who they hurt or what business they damage to get what they want. And they could care less who's joy they take away.

Are there true issues in this world that matter. Yes. Black Lives Matter movement is real. It's a movement to bring attention to the parts of our country that majority ignore/ don't care for caring about. Equal pay for women is a issue that needs to be addressed due to the fact that it follows the same prejudice system that minorities go through. But a sports teams name, logo, or how that sport is ran is not priority that should headlines. And for companies to change, just so they can continue to deliver a lovable product and make profit. That's unfair.
