Finally, one of the flags that--at least for now--made the final cut for my WIP. It’s got the 70s-future-right-off-an-old-Atari-Game-Package feel I really was looking for. This is meant to be symbolic of a world government that thinks a little too highly of itself. I’m particularly pleased that after all the tinkering, the focal point of the flag remains the big orange-red sun, but the blue disc representing earth is just about at the very center of the flag (not quite though). I think I only broke, like, 5-6 rules of vexillography creating this.
Anyway, behold! The First World Union! That’s what I’m calling it for now.
