On this final day of February, what are some of the webcams along the trail revealing about the snow pack? As also suggested by the data, the Oregon and Washington Cascades are blanketed with snow but the Sierras and mountains of Southern California are hungry for precipitation of any kind. The past several weeks have seen an enduring pool of cold air settle over the entire West Coast and the next several days may provide the necessary moisture to add to the skimpy snow pack.
