This week’s cosplayer of the week is our President Holly! Holly is a senior this year studying communication arts and creative writing with a certificate in German. Holly has been cosplaying since her sophomore year of high school when she attended a convention as Misa from Death Note and Rarity from MLP. Cosplayer of the week! Oct. 10th

This week’s cosplayer of the week is none other than our club President, Logan!

Logan Colla, also known as Aedan Flynn is a senior at UW Madison in the Comp Sci department. In the summer of 2013, he stumbled onto the universe of cosplaying and prop building. Following from the expertise of builders like @volpin-props, he created his first major project, Guy Manuel's Daft Punk helmet, and thus his business of @flynnprops was born. Since then he has cosplayed many different characters, each more complicated that the last, with the most recent ones being Arbiter from Halo 5 and Uncle Qrow from RWBY. 

He is currently working on a few projects but is honing his precision German engineering to prepare for his next cosplay Reinhardt from Overwatch.

Hopefully you all had a restful Thanksgiving break! We’re back and at it again with a new Featured Cosplayer: our treasurer, Aedan! @flynnprops Aedan is a Junior majoring in Computer Science at UW-Madison and is the current owner and operator of Flynn Props. He had his first foray into the cosplay and prop world two and a half years ago when he built his first Daft Punk helmet. From there on, he has built various props from the likes of RWBY, Attack on Titan, Hellsing, Halo, and many more. His cosplays include Daft Punk (Guy Manuel), Eren Jaeger, Alucard, Zero/Lelouch, Ash Ketchum and his most recent, Arbiter. The latter was debuted at this year's DaishoCon and brung home the Guest Judge's Choice award. He is always looking to expand his prop creations and not only make great props for others, but teach them so that others can enjoy making props as he does.
