4-13-17 Daily Oracle Draw: 19 The Sage. From the guidebook: "The Sage is constantly learning. While on the one hand he values tradition and stability, he understands and values the need for growth and change." Today, the Sage is reminding us to cultivate detachment and find the inner connections between everything. "The Sage knows when to let go & when to move on." 4-3-17 A Few of My Favorite Things Spread by @magpietarot Today I've spent the whole day, with it's gray clouds and high pressure, waiting for two things: rain & a chance to do my Daily Tarot spread. I missed the daily but, as soon as I sat down to do this Spread, I could hear rain dancing on the roof. Rain drops are clinging to my window and filtering the sunset like prisms. 1) From the suite of Wands- where does my confidence shine? Ace of Rabbits. 2) From the suite of Cups-what brings me joy? 10 of Foxes. 3) From the suite of Swords-what do I find wisdom in? 5 of Badgers. 4) From the suite of pentacles-what makes me feel secure? 10 of Crows. As a writer, I am confident in my creative vision and the uniqueness of my voice. Being Autistic, I do see things from a different perspective and it's shaped a lot of my philosophy in life. I am a counted person who finds a lot of joy in my family. The small moments with the ones I love bring me great happiness. (Some I knew I was pulling the 10 of foxes before I even turned it over. I knew this reading was going to be super accurate.) I have met my share of misfortune and unhappiness. I've experienced the Tower card more than once. I find wisdom in what suffering and unhappiness teaches; plus, I can find moments of happiness. My sense of security, like my happiness, comes from my family. Making my house a home and taking care of my family makes me feel successful. Lol, that was hard to type. It's sounds like something from a resume or bio or I don't know what. 4-17-17 Daily Tarot Draw: 5 of Rabbits (Wands) reversed & Ace of Crows (pentacles). Below my window, someone is quarreling with someone else over the phone. Let's just hope this person gets their money back. Today is day filled with quarrelsome energy. (The 5 of wands reversed.) Any progress made will come with a side of conflict, probably the petty kind or based on misunderstanding. But we're at the beginning of a new week and have all that Ace energy, that seed of a fresh start. The crow baths itself in the bird bath emerges to be born anew. New plans involving business, home life, or work are emerging. Oracle stone: peace. To balance out the other energies swirling through the day, remember to seek peace. 4-16-17 Daily Tarot Draw: 3 of Badgers (Swords) reversed & 4 of Crows (Coins). Two cards featuring fierce storms. The 3 of Badgers reversed is telling us we're headed towards recovery. Thoughts might still be disorderly but the pain is fading. The storm is almost over. Our crow though is still holding on to rigid thinking and hiding away parts of itself, afraid to be vulnerable and open. Our oracle stone for the day is Believe. Healing is slow and the end of the storm is almost in sight. 4-9-17 Daily Tarot Draw: Knight of Badgers (Swords) & 4 of Badgers (Swords). Today, the boar seems an unwilling mount. The woods in the background appear slightly ominous. Our Knight comes off as overbearing. The boar is an unwilling follower. Conflict is in the air today. The 4 of Badgers has a philosophical and contemplative air. These two cards seem at odds. They represent a choice: go forward facing the day's energy with the mindset of the conquering knight or step back and listen to the wind. 4-6-17 Daily Tarot Draw: 6 of Rabbits (Wands) & 10 of Crows (Coins). I'm filled with all this excitable energy today & it's making it hard to focus. Because I'm a SAH homeschooling mom, it already seems like I'm doing 5 things at once. This is an apology in advance in case this post is incoherent. Our rabbit is leapfrogging over a row of other animals. You can feel the confidence and sense of triumph. The other animals seem like willing bystanders; they are here for the show.
