Badminton: Saina readies for Malaysian Open after Korea loss
Saina is now getting ready for the Malaysian Open Superseries after her quarter final loss in the Korean open last week. She will face Juan Gu of Singapore on Wednesday. Ajay Jayaram, Jwala Gutta, Ashwini Ponnappa and V. Diju will also be seen in action in the Malaysian Open. (Source: IBN live)
After a quarter-final finish at Korea last week, India's ace shuttler Saina Nehwal will now set her sights on the Malaysia Super Series, which begins with the qualifiers in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.
Fourth seed Saina will clash with Juan Gu of Singapore on Wednesday in the women's singles competition and is expected to reach at least the quarter-final stage.
On way to the quarter-finals, the Indian is likely to face resistance from Chinese Taipei's Shao Chieh Cheng and fifth seed Tine Baun or Xin Liu of China.
