   was he showing off a little? yes. did he regret it? not too much. he was still going on easy on her, of course. he didn’t want to hurt her. but trying to impress was something he seemed to always try and do even subconsciously. he wasn’t exactly an expert in hand to hand fighting, nothing other than the basic self defense and a few martial arts classes he had taken. nowhere near someone like iron fists level. trying out a simple grapple move on her, he felt a little bad when she told him how heavy he was. even if he did enjoy being this close to her, and he did.

his cheeks flushed for a moment before he loosened his grip on her wrist and playfully leaned his face in closer to her. “ excuse you, I’m not that heavy. and I was just trying to show off a little bit to badass girlfriend.”

Kwannon huffed with amusement and kneeled next to the smaller girl. “I was trained from a young age not to be heard nor seen. What’s the point of tiptoeing around when they can see you right through the glass?” She traced a circle on the glass with her gloved finger, an annoying, whining squeak following the gesture. Then she jabbed a finger up at the ceiling. “If you really want to eavesdrop, the vents are a much easier way of spying on them. Shall I boost you?”
