For anyone who played Baldur's Gate 3, you'll definitely know how Lae'Zel is the first to offer herself as an executioner to spare us from our grim fate as Mind Flayers, and how Astarion is absolutely fascinated by discussing how someone would prefer to depart this life! 🤣 So I HAD to use these two as the subjects for this meme redraw! 💕💕💕 I hope you like it; it's always so fun for me to draw Bae'Zel and Astarion.🥺💖 Who do you think would be a good fit in this meme?

This is what I think would happen if the companions in BG3 played hide and seek.

Minthara and Lae'zel have to be convinced that this is a strategic exercise to participate.

Karlach said she was super excited to play but was really discouraged because well she literally lights up and could catch a lot of hiding spots on fire. So Gale does "hold person" on her after she balls up. Jaheira grows some Ivy around and on her to help her hide. While no one could see her face, Karlach had the biggest smile.

Here is the order everyone is found.

Halsin is found first, he felt using wild shape was unfair, and he is a very large man to hide.

Gale is second. He was more focused on concentrating than hiding.

Wyll over heard the conversation Karlach and Jaheira had with Gale. He purposely made himself found before Karlach.

Minsc he got board and stopped hiding.

Karlach is then found because Gale got caught recasting Hold Person.

Lae'zel understands the importance of stealth but it has been too long, she feels this exercise is now a waste of time.

Minthara is next to be found and the first thing she asks "Has Gale been found?". Her ego is satisfied knowing she's better than someone with the aura of a third son.

Shadowheart is third place. While she is stealthy, her stealth is not the highest.

Astarion is appalled that he is second and not first. He joins the search for Jaheira with Tav, to figure out how she beat him at hiding.

Jaheira is finally found. Or more so she revealed herself. Unlike Halsin, she thinks using wild shape is fair. She expects everyone will use their abilities.

The camp is now divided if Wild shape is allowed in hide and seek.

A companion comic to this one; Tav likes Astarion's fangs, Astarion realizes he really likes seeing her in his shirt with his bite marks on her neck.

Big fan of the trope that Astarion is a little too possessive over the things he cares about deems important, partially because he's a selfish little creature, but mostly because he didn't have anything to call his own under Cazador. ((Also featuring a showboating Wyll, and a skeptical Lae'zel; I love them both so much, they're such dorks.))
