The debate if Hazbin Hell is truly a punishment is truly fascinating to me.
I can understand people who think its not enough I am not saying they are not valid. but I have a difrent take if you allow me to say.
In hell you can not improve. Charlie is literally the first one to suggest such a thing, you are doomed to repeat the mistakes of your life to indulge in your addictions and even if the ultimate punishment, death, is absent you still feel all those shitty feelings. You cannot improve or change beucase you fell that chance is go so you become worse.
and those at the top? A lot of people say that overlords are not really being punished, but think of it this way, yes they have luxury, but they are in a cutthroat envioroment that they can not trust anyone they are always looking over their shoulder, with a few exceptions, and they must always be careful to not lose their power. wich to me its a punishment on its self. unless you are a true sychopath, like alastor, I can't think anyone is actually is happy in that state.
So yeah I think Hazbin's hell is an understing punishment and that is not nothing.
