I’m honestly sick of this idea of izzat (honour/respect) desi people have.

Izzat is fake admit it or not! It is given by fake people and anyways nowadays izzat is not based on your character rather on the amount of wealth and power your family has.

I have now reached a point in my life where I just hate Pakistan because the main aim of pakistani culture is to make people’s lives difficult.

Pakistani people even make islam seem like an impossible religion and use it to justify the abuse and oppression of women by literally making you believe that a woman’s sin is greater than a man’s sin and I find that absolutely disgusting!

Women are taught to sacrifice everything to the point that when they ask for something they are accused of being selfish
