I forgot the sugar. { `he reaches into his pocket, pulling out packets of sugars, he places it onto vera's desk and organizes it nicely, a pink hue filling his cheeks as he wears a broad grin. afterwards, he scurries off;

          ( /the first thing she notices as she steps in the office is the irregularity on her table; a cup of black coffee, accompanied with several sachets of sugar. she’s pretty sure she hadn’t ordered tao to bring in any coffee, so she’s pleasantly surprised, even when she doesn’t like caffeine very much. still, she can’t help but pluck a marker from the set and scribble on the front of the square packets (“NO SUGAR—i’d expected better from you.”), then chucking them on her assistant’s table without a second thought. )
