She always wanted to inspect Fire’s hand. To see if they weresoft or rough, like hers. Inspect the lines and planes, learn the topography ofthem and try to grasp the secrets. Try to smell if blood stayed in the cracks,reminder of the grizzly acts he had to commit for Kennedy. Or if they had dirt,the earth always climbing into him, his true nature hiding underneath. Find the claws below the skin feel the sharp and finally see him as thepredator he rightfully is.

Maybe she only find that his hand are warm, like his smile.
