Bag Filters Plays Essential Role in Cleaning Methods of Tight Areas
Get Away With Mechanical and Pulse Jet Bag Filter Systems
Bag filters are the finest means of dust cleaning from tough spaces. It has reduced much of human efforts for cleaning. Here are explained two types of bag filter systems-
1. Mechanical Bag Filter Systems
These systems are used for cleaning out particles like saw dust and wooden shaving. Open bag filters may be used as indoors while closed bag filter systems are usually used as outdoors. Shaking of filter can be done either manually by hand or with help of motor that is time based automization system. This system is used to improve quality of air. Mechanical based dust collectors are quite inexpensive to use and is suitable for applications which create course dusts like saw dust, wood shavings etc.
This system is usually available in two versions- open bag filter system and closed bag filter system. Open bag systems are for installation of indoors and closed bag system can be used as outdoors. Cleaning by filter is done either manually or automatically with help of motor based shaking system.
Motorized automatic bag filters are usually run by a contactor-timer based logic system with various cycle options, for example shaker runs for fifteen seconds for each time when system is switched on or it runs for fifteen seconds periodically, after fifteen minutes. It is well known for its superior designs, better filter media options, low ratio between airflow rate and filter area etc.
2. Pulse Jet Bag Filter System
Pulse Jet Bag Filter System designed by Santoni India is used for removing particular matter from process and general ventilation air and recovery of precious products from manufacturing processes. Several designs are available along with various applications.
Its top enter is basically used for low concentration and fine dust. Hopper entry is generally used for high concentration and coarse dust. It may be further classified in terms of material of construction of system, reverse pulse jet filter cleaning through compressed air etc. Common application of pulse jet bag filters consists of fabrication, sanding, bailing, blasting, cutting, chipping etc. Some of the key features of pulse jest bag filter systems are-
Top entry fine for low concentration dust
Hopper entry coarse for high concentration dust
Pulse jet cleaning with use of compressed air
Convenient means of re conditioning fabric with no interruptions
Some of the uses of pulse jet bag filters-
Particulate material removal
Used for general ventilation air
Used for recovery of valuable products
