Our Suffragist is carrying the latest clutch from the #bagbyGISH range. Made of the finest quality, highly durable pasta tubes, subtly dyed to incorporate the purple and green of the UK Suffrage Movement, the bag is the perfect size for a mobile phone, the modern social warrior’s weapon of choice. 

Handstitched with a uniquely holey internal weave, the pasta tubes make a distinctive sound under the slightest movement, guaranteed to deter any attempt at removing the Suffragist from railings with the teeth-edge-setting quality of the noise.

The designer was heavily inspired by maternal relatives who were involved in the movement. This year sees the celebration of the centenary of Votes for Women in the UK.
