Drake had been fighting a demon, though it had turned out to be a little stronger then himself. That in turn had caused Drake to end up using his demon form, even though he hadn’t meant to at the time. Drake did not yet fully understand or used his demon form all that much, so he didn’t have all that much control over it. So when he ever di end up using his demon form, he would often faint once he had changed back to his human form.
Though in his demon form, he had managed to defeat the demon he had been fighting. It was after that, that his demon form had gone to Baal’s place, as if he had been drawn there, through some unknown reason at the time. It was after he had reached the front of Baal’s place, that Drake reverted back to his human form before fainting there on the spot.
When Drake finally did begin to wake up, he was a little confused as to why he was staring up at a ceiling, rather than waking up to see the sky like he normally did. Even though he was still tired, he still managed to sit up alittle, from where he had been laying down. Though seeing where he was, only made all the more confused on where he was.
Baal himself was unaware of the fight that had resulted in the injury of the male now laying on the floor before him. Though saddened by the sight, he’d moved him as carefully as he could so to be able to tend to him in a place more suited to his needs (that was, preferably, a little less public). It wasn’t long before he realised that his wounds weren’t fatal and, with a sigh of relief, he went about patching him up. The plan was to allow for him to rest for as long necessary. When he woke, he would ask him what had happened.
Several hours after the incident, Baal entered the room to check up on him. A jug of water was balanced in one hand and a glass was held in the other. He had planned on leaving it there for him so he could reach for it when he woke. His patient had beat him to it, however, and when he turned to leave he noted that his eyes were now open.
“Lay back down,” said Baal in a gentle but firm tone. “You’re safe, but your body needs the rest.” Taking a step toward him, he pressed his hands against his shoulders so to ease him back down. “My name’s Baal,” he told him. “I found you unconscious a little while ago”.
