Rescued by @Mohit. Humerus fracture in cattle egret after a car hit. Came long way from Himachal Pradesh, prolife people. The fracture was open and oblique with only two fragments , dead bone was trimmed and removed. Both the fragments were lined with ESF (external skeltal fixator) and intramedullary pin under GA. The egret had an uneventful recovery. Body weight before surgery was 264 grams and after surgery 278 grams. Will update after couple of weeks the progress. As the bone was trimmed the chances of successful flight initially are less.
