♚ - a memory of something paranormal

      Wind hit against her face as the young girl ran away from the bus stop and towards her house. She had to get there quickly, before her mother discovered what it was she had done. The fear of being grounded or punished for something as little as maybe flooding the girls room convinced her to push herself as quickly as her legs could carry her.

      Within moments of her bursting into the door the phone began to ring, and her life flashed before her eyes. Everything from her first steps to the moment she dropped that girls backpack in the toilet, and she jumped towards the device, knocking it from it’s stand to the floor. 

      Gasping for air she picked the phone up and held it up to her mouth, unsure of what exactly she was trying to do. Heart pounding her chest she sent a quick prayer up to the heavens above and spoke. 

      “Hi, sorry i was just doing dishes.”

      The voice that left her mouth wasn’t hers, but the principal seemed to understand and believe that she was her mouth. Confusion flickered through her momentarily but she quickly recovered and continued the conversation agreeing to have a talk with herself. 

      And this is where her life began to take a turn for the strange.
