Bennington Bucket List - Before I Graduate
Hey everyone!
I'm graduating this term which is so scary, so in the meantime I've been working through and adding to my Bennington Bucket List. Some of these things I've already done but want to do again before I leave, and some of them I've never done:
Hike in the Glastenbury Mountains. Don’t wear red.
Get the Big Pancake at Papa Pete’s.
Lay at the base of the Bennington Monument. Guess how tall it is.
Walk through the covered bridge on Silk Road. Wonder why covered bridges are so special.
Hike the Lye Brook Falls trail in Manchester. Find a place for a swim.
Wear a bandana at the farmer’s market.
Write a poem in the Robert Frost house.
Grill at Lake Shaftsbury. Make sand burgers.
Bathe in the Pownal Tubs.
Get vaccinated. Eat cake to celebrate.
Go to the Brattleboro co-op. Get a smoothie.
Drive-thru Lumberjack’s. Get the maple latte and apple cider donut.
Explore the catacombs. Leave a treasure for someone else to discover.

Bathe in the Pownal Tubs.
This past weekend, I went to Manchester to hike the Lye Brook Falls trail! It was totally gorgeous, and I went off trail at the end and found some cool places to swim. Unfortunately, I was out of water by then, so I want to go back for a proper swim in the river!
