I know you didn't ask for this but if anyone is here because of my Kaishin doujin Breaking Stasis and you STILL haven't checked out bakathief's incredible Kaishin doujin Shadow Chase... well, this is your sign to do it!!
It's such a charming love letter to canon while also delving into the characters' psyche and by god it's got some of the FUNNIEST shenanigans ever. Like I started reading it thinking "well okay this is just some typical gay fanfiction but let's give this a whirl" (<- btw when I say it's a typical gay fanfiction I do NOT mean this in a derogatory way) and then it hits you with the most canon-loyal bomb hostage situation and you're like "Well!! that sure was something" and it goes back to being a very fanfiction-y doujin before it hits you AGAIN with the most stunningly illustrated case fic I've ever laid my eyes on. It's so clear to me that you love Detective Conan and Magic Kaito a lot and I genuinely LOVE what you're doing, and most of all I really admire you for your persistence through the years!! It's amazing seeing how much you've improved just by reading through Shadow Chase!!
what’s your favorite thing about your style
If I'm going to be completely honest, I still feel like I haven't found my style yet... so if we put a positive spin on that, I like how versatile it is!
I'm not so bold as to claim I can draw everything I want to exactly the way I envision it, but I think I get pretty damn close, whether it's something serious or something silly or something silly in how serious it is. I have the range, basically!!
