They started with a goodnight kiss | Camille/Thomas
Camille stood in front of the full length mirror. Another dress was discarded. The floor was littered with satin, lace, and silk of all colors and shades. Nearly every garment had never been worn--all new and perfectly tailored to her figure...still none gave the exact impression she wished to convey to Thomas that evening. Camille had found the stranger quite charming--and of course, undeniably handsome. Perhaps he would make the time in New York a bit more entertaining...his willingness to be an accomplice to her lie gave the opportunist hope that he might be useful in the future, as well. Truly Georgina's daughter--Cam was ever the schemer.
It was an odd thing--the way the thoughts of the man lingered in her mind. Camille was no virgin, but still not the type to be so forward as to kiss him. A rosy, scarlet spread over her cheeks, as the memory of her brash behavior conquered her mind. Still, it made her smile, just a little smile at first-- Pulling on another dress--this one a bit shorter than the last, the smile grew, pressing her flushed cheeks up and slowly revealing her perfect teeth. It was evidence of her undeniable attraction to the man and overtook her entire facade, finally reaching her wide, innocent eyes and causing the slightest crinkle at their corners. The dark expressive pools twinkled as she turned this way and that.
The black and white dress would do. It said all the things she wanted her ensemble to convey-- short enough to inspire deviant thoughts, but not so mini that it screamed Audrey Bass easy. Diamonds went in her ears and around her wrist and neck. Perfectly manicured toes slipped into Louboutin heels--and she was ready. Her hair hung in loose curls, waterfalling down her back and over her shoulders. Smoky eyes and vibrant red lips enhanced the beauty of her aristocratic face. The girl checked her reflection once before, before leaving the penthouse she demanded her mother keep for her and making her way down to the bar to wait on her date.
