No, but, what if, what if, Sherlock has realised the depths of his love for John Watson in series 3 but he realises what it has cost him as well? To love so deeply without it being returned? The pain he suffered because of it? The fact that he killed, became a man he would have loved to chase once, all for a love that was not meant to be? What if Sherlock decides 'no more' and tries to break with John? Sentiment was a weakness after all and he has himself to prove it this time.
