Voltron Conspiracy Theory: Galra Empire Infection

Well I have gone several weeks without new Voltron episodes so it is obviously time to spit out a new Voltron conspiracy theory.

In a nutshell. 

The same power that enslaved/consumed the water world in “The Depths” is enslaving the Galra empire.

Point 1: No one knows how Zarkon is still alive. Some force  (presumably connected to the witch Haggar is keeping him alive.)

Now for the Water World we had:

A strange force came from outside of their space.

Seized control of their ruler.

Abruptly changed her behavior.

Consumed the life of their people while in exchange giving life and sustenance in measured doses to the favored survivors.

Was slowly depleting the population.

There was a small resistance from within the population.

For the Galra Empire we Have:

The ruler had what was presumably an abrupt change of behavior.

A political force that consumes the life of their member worlds (their people) while in exchange giving life and sustenance  in measured doses to the favored survivors.

The galra population has been apparently severely depleted with only a few members left.

There is a small resistance from within the populations.

Here is the theory. Something from outside the Galra Empire seized control of Zarkon and/or Haggar. It fed into Zarkon’s bizarre behavior even as it ate away at the Galra population. some fragment of it fell to the “The Depths” water world and assumed the form of the Bakku Garden dragon.

This would explain why the Black Paladin went bad...

Perhaps it is a spore virus of sorts. But the main piece of “evidence”  is a flash of image in the depths and the lesser druids.

Some were curious as to why the druids had those odd, long, triangular  facemasks at first but eventually brushed it aside as them being mooks. 

But the face mask design is nearly perfectly mirrored in the face of the Bakku dragon in that scene.

So is there anything that disproves this theory in the two seasons we have seen yet?

Okay, for all the insanely scary critters Japan has come up with, I’ve just bumped into one super awesome and helpful critter! Anyone else on here ever heard of a bakku/baku (probably)? It’s a creature whose sole purpose, get this, is to eat your nightmares so you can start the day refreshed. What a nice creature!!! You just say, ‘devour them, o Bakku,’ and that’s an invitation for it to show up and eat your bad dreams/nightmares!!! That’s awesome!
