DRAWING GAME RULES: Multiplayer + Drawn version of the mobile phone game “Snake”.

Each player begins with a different colour. Players take it in turns to make a single mark until everyone has a starting position. From this starting mark, each player can begin their ‘snake journey’. Straight horizontal or vertical lines only may be made. Each player must lift their pen between lines. Players lose if they intersect someone else’s line.

The winner is the last player remaining!

How/Why

The foyer of the current building, as the main thoroughfare for the many office spaces above, would be the primary area of the installation.

The installation would focus on the placement and scale of the building that was there previously. The position of the walls of this preceding dwelling would be mapped out within the new foyer through the use of one-way glass, such that someone inside the walls will be able to see out, but those passing through will merely see their reflections. As such, this interior section would be disconnected from the business world of the current day to create a secluded and quiet retreat within an otherwise bustling area.
