how do i even explain that i, the og bakudeku shipper, don’t even completely ship them romantically but as a qpr soulmate deal that transcends any label.

ofc i love every version of them but i am the staunch bakudeku defender and supporter simply because i was in the trenches when people were denying that they were one of the most, if not the most, important and compelling relationship in the whole series.

and now im labeled crazy and a weirdo who’s mad they didn’t kiss.

bro you can’t even acknowledge the intertwined fates and canonical friendship they got going on. why would i ever trust you to understand queer platonic relationships and the inherent romanticism that bleeds from their storyline

hot take: idk if the heroes would have won the final war if bakugou didn’t come back. take afo out of it, i don’t think deku would have been able to have the fight in him to push through.

seeing kacchan was alive fueled his final battle and gave him back his hope and light in his eyes. i genuinely don’t know if he would have even gotten close enough to shigaraki, let alone endure what he went through on just rage.

he needed his belief and hope and love to win the fight. and kacchan restored that.
