Tell me what the point of combining dub Bakura with what happened to him in the original is? The dub made Kul Elna into a village of people to deserved to die for a reason, and that reason was to make Bakura less justifed in his revenge against the protagonists. Why not embrace this interpretation, if you subscribe to the rest of the dub? It makes him into something truly evil, since in the dub he comes from evil… and that’s what you guys like, right?
