The Balboa Fun Zone ferris wheel has been standing since 1936 (a special year 🚢). Its been moved once...maybe twice. And amidst COVID-19, it still stands as colorful and as welcoming as before all this took place. It's a reminder to me that a crisis like this can't keep a good wheel down. Spin on in the silver linings of our hearts, fabled ferris wheel. Also, hot dogs are...a staple of American...and German...heritage. And this restaurant's flag waves strong in this Fun Zone favored tradition. So, fight on fighter! Philippians 4:8. Balboa is a refuge when overworked and overwhelmed. I know I'm not alone when I say that it brings back a lot of memories and makes me think of God's handiwork. Happy Earth Day. I love the ocean and being in quarantine makes me appreciate it that much more. People ask why God allows suffering in the world and people are definitely asking why God is causing or allowing for #COVID_19. While it's SOMETHING of a loaded question, one thing can be said. God uses all things to bring us to Himself. Look at the ocean. Breath it in. Happy Earth Day. On the other hand, I took cautious and responsible courage to visit the #BalboaPennisula to investigate and explore the serene and peaceful place. I was very surprised by some of the things I saw.
