Going with an Elven Archer, favored enemy being dragons (is it the optimal choice? No but I really love the idea from a roleplaying perspective).

The classic Bhaalspawn vs Dark Urge is so funny. Bhaal makes a bunch of potential Jesuses, but the most powerful one just says "no" to being evil and all Bhaal can do is cope and seethe.
So Bhaal makes a Jesus that's even more him than his previous attempts (the Dark Urge is implied to not have a mortal mother), makes them kill the family that adopted them at a young age, and then has his cult raise them. He has more control over this Jesus, but then the granddaughter of one of his failed Jesuses knocks them on the head too hard and they forget all their indoctrination. Even having a direct line to their body isn't enough, they claw their way to goodness, and when he kills them Jergal is just like "fuck you buddy".
