Coaching
starter for @baldurxmp ft Chinsun & Baldur
Stepping into the small, sweetly quaint little cafe, Chinsun wrings the strap of her purse in her hands a little awkwardly. Inside, with all the usual bits and pieces a woman would carry around, was the rolled up advert she’d found for something she never thought she’d need, a life coach. Back in the city on the mainland she thought she had everything put together! A great job, a closet to be envious of and a shoe collection of her dreams, but now, coming here, she realises the hole left inside of her that she’d yet to fill with those sorts of things, and never would be. She needed real substance, and no matter how skilled she became within her career, it just wasn’t going to give her that.
So here she is, awkwardly gazing around the tables, wondering who here new life coach was. There was a cute couple of younger people, a man with headphones and a beanie on, that couldn’t be him... then her gaze lands on a long limbed gentleman, dressed, no presented, in fashionable, light coloured, tailored lines with legs that seem to reach the other side of the small table he was sat at. ... and he seemed to have a glow about him. Then she realises she was staring, and quickly glances away.
By now she had been noticed, and with the barista looking back at her with a sweet, expectant smile, Chinsun clears her throat lightly as she steps closer to the counter and murmurs in a hushed voice. “I am supposed to be meeting someone” she half asks, half states awkwardly as the poor girl blinks back at her before nodding, and starts looking around herself.
