:
Eventually, the missions die down by splitting each group into individuals by grouping. Moon is slowly getting his memory worked on more personally with the haven, Carme staying more— mentally recovering from dying, helping himself,
And now Sun has all these people he'd consider dear to him.
He has his teacher, Dahlia, who is also recovering from death. He looked up to him insanely, sometimes just sitting in silence and reading, slowly, they'd genuinely find common ground over the sass and distain Dahlia would have as a 'replacement' for Atles. He'd be someone Sun could genuinely learn from, and Sun would hold him close for that.
Then, there's Joy. Sun had only been on a few dates around this point, maybe they've already begun slowly developing. Joy plays piano while Sun holds her fondly at nearly 11 at night, as they came home late and it's just a play out of her routine that she refuses to break. Joy has met the cats, and oh how Dazzle tried to sneak in to ask Joy to boost her grades because she was with her dad.
It isn't JUST Sun with these two,
As Dahlia and Joy are already rather close. They're each other's ride-or-dies, they'll hold each other in their roughest, they'll gossip, they'll talk comfortably, they hang out on their own, without assignment.
So you can really assume these three would generally end up really tight-knit naturally?
—
Sol suddenly begins implementing new laws, new adjustments— rules, that many would seem unfit.
He begins demanding full power over council,
And what group better support his actions to ease the sanctuary's worries than an experienced commander, the catalyst that Dark trusted enough to allow ease between the sanctuary and his home, and not only the head teacher- but the one who has been politically representing the elections, the word that Dark had implemented?
Why WOULDN'T the sanctuary trust the word of their protector, their promised leaders word, and the word of the safety for their children?
I imagine this would play out in a twisted moral of "Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil", where these three would go on missions, and speak publicly about false news on the Moon haven, thinking they're doing right by what Sol the Tyrant is telling them.
Sun, as Hear no Evil.
Sun has made a deliberate point to point out that as much as Moon changes, he will take no apology unless it's by action, which is slowly forming– too subtle for Sun to actually intake, especially when Sun doesn't communicate his concerns. He isn't hearing Moons change, and for Sol-? Observing this, is enough to tell him that the action he had caused by killing nexus is leading to his Moons downfall. I put Sun as Hear no Evil, because Sun will never let himself hear another apology from Moon and accept it, how can one change with words?
1/3.
Then, there's Joy; See no Evil.
Joy has been working steadily with children for a while now. What had crumbled her to a state of being unable to work for over a month?? Causing her to reminisce on the past and debating the emotions she's always struggled with fully regulating? None other than her own co-worker Mel, who left her dangling- taunted and then disposed of, who is also council at her own respective haven! Joy was put as See no Evil because in the vision of her abuser, she clamps up, she panics, she can't HAVE her evil in her view because she can't physically- nor mentally, handle it.
2/3
And Finally, Dahlia, with Speak no Evil.
Dahlia was the right hand man of their own dictator, along with their Moon, Nightshade, who was an equal to them. It took till near after the war for Dahlia to speak out against their skewed morals, and the leads they were taking being generally WRONG. In response to this, their arms were torn off, and their vocal cords were permanently damaged, forcing them to never speak out without their own version of agony. Dahlia was chosen for Speak no Evil, as he is a direct response to what would happen if someone were to acknowledge the 'Evil', which in Sol's message, would be the collection of the Moonhaven.
Politically, they now represent the choice to abandon your morals on Moons to keep forgiving, the knowledge it's okay to still miss your Moons, and then the finale of knowing that your Moon will do more harm than good.
The concept of Sun being Tyrants right hand man is cool n' all, but imagine the group that is so close and yet so opposite working together and reassuring each other every time they begin questioning their views!
Missions slowly turn into debates,
Debates turn into direct attacks on the haven,
And with the three of their logic–
"Protect yourselves from the dangers they could hold, protect yourself if they attack, save the people of the haven before they get to us."
I think it would develop as a similar repeat to Dahlia, just with more subtle morals because of how deeply rooted the distain towards some Moons are despite how peaceful the three would typically be.
Because what Sol says is most likely right, and Sol knows more,
So Sol's order goes.
Wait.... So if Sun is willingly out on a date with Joy, a version of himself, then.... Literally every variant of him has that chance if they are women....
Damn Sun, didn't know you that in love with yourself
Also kinda funny Sun will never pick an Eclipse in every dimension lol
Bro being Eclipse-phobic
So the show can make Ruin gay for all the angst plot lines, but Sun is where they draw the line?
Okay. Okay
But then again even if Sun has a boyfriend, I guess he will also still have a boring dialogue like he has with Joy
Literally nothing different
Joy and sun huh?...
Joy already has her own sexy lesbian wife😭
To be honest, I dont think there's any woman who would be a good match for Sun right now...
Sun embracing his femininity by wearing a puffy dress when out on a date with someone from the haven and then going through the grandest feeling anyone in a dress could ever go through of…
A little girl asking if you’re a princess and if she can have a picture.
Yes and yes.
Sun would kneel down to the child and say yes
Then when the child leaves he'll start crying of joy
Because yes
