BALEWEEK: (day 8) BEYOND ACTING

     ↳ There's so many qualities in this man that I love and I could probably write you a novel! obviously his acting (unquestionable), his love for his family, his charity work, his kindness, his passion for his work, his ability to transform into each role, his humor, his intelligence, his simplicity ♥ and I could go on, but what I really love the most about him really, is his bluntness, I just love how he speaks his mind and doesn't hold back, clearly he's not your typical "Hollywood actor" and I love that he doesn't take Hollywood's bullshit. In short: I just love how he doesn't give a fuck. :)

BALEWEEK DAY 8: Beyond Acting

Beyond Acting:

I like him for not doing anything professionally beyond acting.He doesn't do commercials. He doesn't make paid appearances at brand launching parties. You don't see him sitting on front row at a fashion show. He's never been associated with a specific designer brand or become a spokesperson of something. It's easy money. Most actors do these for money, for exposure, sometimes for charity. Clooney makes Nespresso commercials with his actor pals. Pitt did puzzling Chanel 5 advert. DiCpario, DeNiro, and Scorsese were paid like $10M+ each for making a casino commercial. Bale doesn't own a production company to produce his "vehicles" as many A-list actors do. With an exception of Harsh Times, Bale never took a "producer" title, which would allow him more control over the movie. In multiple occasions, he said he isn't interested in directing and he'll keep acting as long as he gets hired.  I wish Bale keeps doing what he's been doing... acting without distraction.

Christian is active in many organizations, including Ark Trust, Greenpeace, the World Wildlife Foundation, the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, the Redwings Sanctuary, and the Happy Child Mission, and a school for street kids in Rio De Janeiro.
