India started its @icc.worldcup.19 journey with their first match against South Africa, and told the world that the boss has just started. In the match @mahi7781 (MS Dhoni's) keeping gloves were the Regimental Dagger symbol of Indian Para Special Forces which means "Balidaan" (Sacrifice). Para SF are the Special Operations unit of India Army attached to Parachute Regiment, the finest of Indian Army. They conducted surgical strikes (3 times) on the terrorists camps across our borders. Lt. Col. Dhoni is an officer of Para Regt. He already completed his training for the Para SF with other battalions. The symbol on his gloves is not for the fashion, he just earned it and is to show his owe and respect towards his regiment and troops. @icc (International Cricket Council) has requested @indiancricketteam (BCCI) to ask Dhoni not to use this symbol in the match. So to ICC, if nations play cricket for the pride, then the Regimental Dagger symbol is also a pride for the nation and the troops. As a cricket fan we respect this beautiful game, but at the same time we owe, salute and respect our @indianarmy.adgpi (Indian Army) and their personnel as a countrymen. This is neither a political, religious nor a racial symbol. Jai Hind 🇮🇳 PS- Lets enjoy the world cup and the game of gentlemen. Go India Go. #DhoniKeepTheGlove #balidaan #Pride #IndianArmy #paraspecialforces #India #iccworldcup2019 #meninblue #nationfirst #balidaanbadge #Salute #respect #jaihind #jaibharat (at India) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByccE8-jyAJ/?igshid=1w0ejempqc8je
