One of the first things we did in drawing class was draw shoes I don't know what it is, but art teachers really love shoes and making us do something with them every year. We got to choose any shoe so I used what I'm pretty sure was my first pair of pointe shoes. The second photo was the practice day before I brought in the pointe shoes I wanted to draw

Ballerinas.

They are perfect. They have the perfect bodies. The most perfect fluidity in their movements. Graceful in everything. I cannot help to be envious of them. I try to be perfection like them, But never even coming close to it. It kills me that I can never be the swan that they are.
