Generations of Ballerina Dolls
Have you heard about the newest generation of dancing ballerina dolls? They're called Ballerina Dreamer, by what appears to be a new brand called Hunter Products! They are set to be released at all Walmart stores soon, and will be available in two variants:
I'm going to get the brunette one for Christmas.
But did you guys know about their ancestors, Dancerina and Dancerella? They are from the 1960's and 1970's, respectively. Both were produced by Mattel and are quite sought after by vintage doll collectors nowadays.

All three versions of the ballerina dolls have a similar mechanism, where you push or pull the knob on top of their tiara and make them twirl and kick. I'm glad that they're bringing back this concept with the Ballerina Dreamer dolls, because I have always been curious to know how these dolls work. 🎀🌹
Stay tuned for a future review, once I actually get my doll. Since she is going to be a Christmas present, it won't happen until probably late December or after the holidays. 😅
