Pas de Deux: Katniss has just completed her first run of shows as Principal Ballerina with the Capitol Ballet, playing the legendary Sugar Plum Fairy in this year's production of The Nutcracker. With a successful season of shows behind her, what's stopping Katniss from indulging in that thrumming, persistent, hunger crackling under her skin with each passing touch from her dance partner? Peeta Mellark is just a temporary member of their company after all! Surely, he'll be gone from her life long before rehearsals begin for the spring show.
