One of my favourite works by Emmy is her Balloon Comic, which she made in 2008. It would make a wonderful children's story and is available as a book. It is almost like a storyboard, with the panel design being very much like a filmstrip in parts, and puts emphasis on beautiful landscapes and nature-y textures.
Her style reminds me a lot of artists who work with Disney, such as Brittany Lee and Mary Blair.
