Balloon Trip
I’ve been a fan of both Balloon Fight and Tingle for ages, so of course I’m also a fan of Tingle’s Balloon Fight DS, showcased in the photo above.
Beyond its updated-to-16-bit-era visuals, the highlight of Tingle’s Balloon Fight DS is that it includes a “Balloon Trip” mode just like the arcade/console game that inspired it.
For more on why I love it so much, read my (admittedly rather succinct) review of Tingle’s Balloon Fight DS.
Want to see more snapshots of its case, cartridge and instruction manual? You can do so by checking out this Flickr album of mine. (Scroll down to the bottom of the first page.)
Finally, in related news, the fan translation of Nintendo’s third Tingle DS game, Irozuki Tincle no Koi no Balloon Trip (aka Ripened Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love) is nearing completion. Learn more about the project in the latest post on my more traditional gaming blog.
