"Hey, Rem?" His attention is on his phone screen. "What's a 'baddie'?"
Rem pauses, a candy cane dangling out of the side of her mouth. The sticky treat coats her lips in a faint gloss, teeth biting off the sharpened end. She’s currently tangled up in blinking Christmas lights— attempting to straighten them out before hanging them in the office. She loves Christmas time at the ShinRa building; the tangle of lights becoming a noose around her, not so much.
Balto’s voice comes quietly, a soft touch of velvet in the quiet office and she lifts her head before the Santa hat slides over her left eye. A hand reaches up, pushing it from her field of vision before a knee raises and her elbow rests on the slack-covered bone. Crimson eyes flicker over to him, a silvery eyebrow raised to show she was paying attention. The question he asks, however, has her chuckling.
“Me. I’m a baddie.” She quips, tongue moving the dwindling candy cane to the other side of her mouth.
“It’s uh..” she pauses, trying to find the right words. Shiva, why did it have to be her.
“Uhh.. think of the Honeybees. They’re baddies. Cute faces, bangable bodies, allure for days.” A hand waves, glancing at Balto in hopes he would catch on.
“Hell, even yer’a baddie, Bally.”
