Had a rough morning - barely made it to a doctor’s appointment I had nearly convinced myself I didn’t need, only to find out I have quote “real bad bronchitis” and have to take 2 separate puffers for the next couple weeks and go back immediately if anything gets worse so like that’s great. Glad I didn’t have to go straight to work after that.

Gonna chill for a bit and then head in for the last half of my shift

I’m even still working through this pandemic bc I’m “essential personnel” and I’m STILL fighting the urge to dig out the clippers and give myself an undercut.

I’ve developed a reputation at work as the weird pet lady and now if someone has something up with one of their pets they will come ask me

I’ve sent people to the vet for steroid shots to calm down milary dermatitis, had them switch to foods excluding specific ingredients based on symptoms, and identified to one person that their black cat wasn’t just getting old, but actually had a tyrosine deficiency.

So that reputation might be well deserved. But also people need to remember that vet trips are also preventative, and not always curative. Regular care can keep your pet from experiencing health problems that you might not otherwise be aware of, but which decrease their quality of life.

I came to visit family and rather than sleep on a lumpy couch with a back injury I got a hotel. Y’all, the website doesn’t describe half of what is going on up in here.

(If I’m staying in a hotel, I’m staying in a nice room- otherwise it’s a waste of time tbh)

I have private wifi. a jacuzzi tub. Bigscreen tv. king size bed. I am living the fucking life right now

My computer is dying a sad, prolonged death. I can’t record anything besides stardew valley and even that upsets it if the stars haven’t aligned. I keep looking at computers but tbh I can’t afford a replacement so if this bites the dust I’ll be going back to the old notebook for the foreseeable future

I feel like I’m edging closer to “financially secure” and what is the reason for this? I finally own more than one fitting bra

Had to remove no fewer than four family members from my facebook to avoid signing almost all their posts with “#racist” and thus burning down what’s left of my extended family relations.

Let’s be clear, here, I do not  give one single fuck if these people like me. But if they don’t, they will not say so to me, they will say so to my elderly grandmother and my parents who, bless them, do not deserve that shit.

One day I will either snap and start doing it regardless or I won’t have to worry about protecting them from the consequences of my actions against passive aggressive people, and on that day the earth will burn
