HEY YOU. HOW IS JAPAN TREATING YOU? :D

IT'S FREAKING HOT AND HUMID (´；ω；｀) Um, but it's been pretty chill and everyone is really nice. I haven't started working at any of my schools yet, but that starts the beginning of next month. So every day has been going to my Board of Education and leeching off the Internet since I don't have a phone or Internet at my apartment yet. There's one other new ALT (assistant language teacher) here with me in the same town, so we've been discovering things together, I guess you could say.

Last week was another orientation, and then a fireworks festival on Friday, then some sightseeing, including a shrine/waterfall. In short, not very busy... yet. I'm settling in, and my apartment is starting to feel more like a place to call home. :) I've also done a lot of clothes shopping recently. XD Yay 100 yen shops and UNIQLO and small clothing shops at train stations and department stores!
