No but really tho, I mean a very specific thing when I call them "my lovelies" and that thing is just about them.
I'm not a Stony shipper either-I have my RP ot4; but when I have to ship canon, I prefer Science Brothers, and not necessarily sexual, if even. I hate how everyone basically makes Tony out to be a man slut. I think he has the personal fortitude to stick with ONE person when he finally finds them and they click. Or at least, have alternatives arranged before they're consummated, you know?
TONY IS NOT A MAN SLUT, AUGH
He's a flirt but that's part of his personality-- it's more of a front than anything. That "Tony is such a man slut, lol" mindset is a toxic misconception that is spurred on by the MCU crap, where RDJ is playing this hammed-up caricature of Stark that's more RDJ than Stark. Something that has been absolutely consistent throughout the comics is that Tony has been painfully devoted to the women he has been in relationships with, so much so that he often winds up getting hurt, emotionally, by these women.
This was such a predictable, solid part of his personality that his rival was actually counting on him falling apart when the proverbial carpet of love was pulled out from under his feet, and used that to his advantage to get Tony to fall back off the wagon and become unfit to run his company, effectively handing it over by being so predictably heartbroken by the woman he loved.
I also hate how people say he's "oh so injured, oh he's damaged goods, oh poor baby". He's a douche sometimes, but he is fully responsible for his actions. You can't just sweep his actions under the rug by saying "oh he had a terrible childhood, it's not his fault".
He's forty fucking years old, IT IS HIS FAULT.

I know, but I'll start with the first panels as soon as I finish with my exams (actually is one, but it sounds better in plural :P), this Monday. If that takes me a lot of work, well, we see, good thing, I'll have the entire summer holidays to do so...
