My version of the Bamon reunion

When she sees him again for the first time we see all the emotions on her face; relief and joy followed by sadness and anger. Then she walks away without saying a word. "Bonnie..." He tries to grab her hand to stop her but she jerks it away. Later Damon gets Bonnie to meet him under false pretenses and basically kidnaps her so she can't leave. "Let me go, Damon. You left me, you abandoned me. Why should I listen to any thing you have to say?" "I know that I hurt you Bonnie but that was never my intention. I just wanted to protect you and I realised that the biggest threat to your safety was me. You almost died. You were lying unconscious in hospital and I didn't know what to do. I just knew that I couldn't be the cause of your pain so I decided to take myself out of the equation. "You hurt me anyway" "I know and I'm sorry" She's crying and he wants to comfort her so he moves closer. When she doesn't retreat he pulls her into his arms and hugs her. *** Sorry, I'm not a good writer but that's how I see it in my head.

It’s gonna be a long excruciating wait before we get new Bamon on our dash again so to help with the waiting pains I would love to hear how yall think Bamon’s going to happen on the show. Do you imagine the reunion more angry or sad?? Do you imagine their kiss to be fiery and passionate or slow and hesitant?? You can do the reunion and kiss or just one. It can be as simple as a sentence or detailed as a fanfic chapter if you like!! 

I’m definitely not talented in the writing department but here I go!

I think their reunion will be sad but sweet. She won’t be jumping into his arms like before but they will embrace. They’ll lock eyes and Damon breaks the silence by saying “Hey, Bon-Bon...” sweetly while giving her a small smile. Bonnie says “Damon?” and something in her breaks. She starts to cry when Damon walks up to her. He puts his arms around her and pulls her in to him slowly. She chokes out “You came back...” into his chest and he says “I’m sorry, Bon. Looks like you’ve had quite the fun without me.” She chuckles through her tears and puts her arms around his torso, clenching parts of his shirt in her hands. She whispers “I missed you...” and he says “I missed you, too”. They hold each other tightly for a long time, like nothing else in the world matters.

For me, their confession will be with one with little words. Preferably in the Salvatore kitchen by the lit fireplace. They’ll be talking about how they kept everyone safe from the huntress noting how everyone is doing with some signature banter here and there. Somewhere after mentioning everyone, they stop talking and just look into eachother’s eyes. Their gazes are mutually soft and endearing...like they’re being hypnotized by one another. They slowly and unconsciously move closer together. Damon whispers “Bon...” she whispers “Damon...” and their lips touch in a soft tender kiss. They kiss slowly and gently and when they finally pull away, they keep their eyes closed and touch foreheads, drowning in their deep feelings for one another while not saying a word.

No over-the-top love declarations, no cheesy Hallmark lines. I wanted something very non-Delena like. I feel like they were in a contest for who could say I love you in the most melodramatic, cheesy way and I kept wondering ‘Goddamn, who wrote this shit?!’. So I’m very over the whole saying I love you thing, I want Bamon to show it through their gazes and body language.
