Just for the record, I ship the ShikiAki ship and it's actually really disturbing that people try to excuse how abusive it is. I mean in some of the other media (like the drama CD) you can see him show very tiny pieces of remorse for what he's doing and in other places you can see him care for Akira, but that's really no reason to excuse just how abusive he is on every level. What he does to Akira is really sick and fucked up and I really hate him, but I have my reasons for liking the ship

i mean, you can like the ship!, i have no problem as long as you accept it’s not a healthy relationship at all, i’m very glad there’s people like you in this fandom :) but yeah, there’s still a fair amount of people that just won’t admit how abusive their ship is.
on the other hand, i actually like Shiki as a character, i think he’s interesting as he’s pretty fucked up himself but i definitely resent his actions and well, i guess you could say i love to hate him
