This is an illustration for the @winterhawk-olympic-bang , for @banashee’s fic How soon is now. (heavy angst, mind the fic’s tags) Art on AO3 here.
It’s also a fill for @winterhawkbingo‘s prompt “movie night“ and @buckybarnesbingo‘s "date night”.
@banashee tagged me to list ten songs I love, each from a different artist.
Completely random, not rly my favourites or anything just the first good songs I could think of:
Mika - Grace Kelly
The Pretty Reckless - 25
Taylor Swift - The Lakes
Hayley Kiyoko - Girls like Girls
Halsey - New Americana
Queen - Killer Queen
Lil Nas X - Montero
Stevie Nicks - Edge of Seventeen
Måneskin - Vent'anni
Leslie Fish - True Story
@banashee I on purpose didn't look at your songs until after I was finished with my list so I'd not get influenced - but I really only know The Amazing Devil from all the bands you've listed xD Anyway thanks for tagging me!
I tag @guardianrock @existentialvoidofexistence @rockpaperscissorsgun @toboldlynerd @bobbseynumber3 @ronancebuckley (had to look up what your new url was again xD thank fuck I always #-tag all the urls as well so I can find them again on old posts and click the @-tag to find how the url changed xD you change your url so quicklyyy) @alessandramortt (omg I can tag you now? What happened I fully expected needing to tag a side) @aleksandrachaev @startrekgeorgiouery (looks like my luck for tagging main blogs didn't reach you yet xD) @cryhardanddanceharder @verbumproxen & everyone else who sees this - only do it if you want to of course :)
Make your own post, don't reblog
Happy Tiddy Removal! Glad it went well for you 😊💗💙🤍

[ID: The image is a rectangular collage, horizontal, with 10 individual photos on the left hand side.
In the top row, the first image is a pile of analog clocks; the second, an image of Big Bend in London with a cloudy sky; the third, a pile of logs alit in a fireplace.
In the second row, the first image is a foggy window looking into a street with a heart drawn into the fog; the second is black and white, showing five hands reaching toward one another, palms up. The third is a pink & gold mug with the text “Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons” and a flamingo graphic.
In the third row, the first photo is a dark bedroom lit only by a bedside lamp. The second is of the Scottish highlands, showing a small, cozy white house in the foreground. The third is a spooky edit of a brown iris illuminated by bright green tendrils. The third is a rainbow watercolor with a heart & infinity symbol inked on top, the symbol for polyamory.
The background of this collage is mostly black with bright green smoke on the right hand side. Over the green smoke, white text in a typewriter style font reads: “One Hundred Years (again and again, every single day)” and in the same font, but smaller underneath it says, “A The Magnus Archives Fanfiction for the Fiction Podcast Big Bang 2022”.]
One hundred years (again and again, every single day)

Pairings: Past Martin Blackwood/Jon Sims, newly developed pre-Season 1 Polycule via time travel: Martin/Jon/Tim/Sasha (as well as all of them individually with one another)
The four of them are sprawled out on Tim's living room floor, heads pillowed on each other and limbs brushing lightly. Laughter and the warm scent of burning wood from the fireplace are in the air. It feels comfortable. Familiar.
The tickle of long, dark hair brushes against Martin's chin. It is a sensation he has missed dearly, and he almost can't believe that he gets to have this back. It still takes him by surprise sometimes, to find much less grey streaks in this head of hair than he did in Jon's - his Jon's, who died in his arms almost a year ago. A year ago for Martin, and yet, many years in the future from this specific point in time for all of them. It still catches him off guard sometimes, but it still hurts. Not as often as before - not nearly, but sometimes, the pain sneaks up on him and knocks the air out of him.
Martin can't help but look at Jon now, who is happy and comfortably nestled into him. He can't help but look at Sasha and Tim only inches away from them just the same. Once again, Martin is utterly torn between old grief and happiness.
It is still hard to believe that it is possible to have a second chance with all of them. He intends to savor every minute of it. Every minute with them. Time and time again, Martin is reminded of a life that might just as well have been.

Hi! I'm Banashee (They/Them), 27 and I've been writing for most of my life probably? In some way at least. I also do all sorts of other art, but writing is one of the things that I love doing the most. Enjoy the angst and queer love and yearning!

Feeling myself, and y'all get to suffer the consequences 😁
Your art is absolutely beautiful! I originally followed you for the JonMartin goodness, but I'll 100% stay and happily wait for anything else. Robin and Teddy are super sweet and I can't wait to get to know them and their story more and more 😊💜
Awwww that makes me happy to hear, thank you! 🥺 I’m glad that everyone’s getting invested in Robin and Teddy, a lot of WVDC revolves around their relationship so it’s important to get that right 😁
★ - sad headcanon for Clint please 💜
In the weeks and months following the Battle against Thanos, after the ones who disappeared returned from the Blip, newspapers, television and even grand production documentaries made biographical works, buildings and monuments in the name of those heroes that helped saved the world - Tony Stark and Steve Rogers of course got the largest honors, Medal of Honor and statues, streets named after them in new cities, and entire serials, podcasts and more created for their honor.
Natasha Romanoff was honored with several posthumous awards, both in her homeland and in America, while statues, books and others were written about her sacrifice and what it meant to have a clean slate, to do everything for the world and to save everyone from dying.
But out of the remaining three original Avengers who had once fought off the Chitauri forces in downtown Manhattan, one kept being forgotten. Where Bruce Banner and the Hulk were now faces of science projects, fairs and even larger scientitic advancements, and where Thor, literal God of Thunder went off with the Guardians and helped establish SWORD, the world seemed to slowly, gradually forget the last one.
One last man standing, in the middle of giants, whose statues and legacies overshadow that of his own. One small documentary aired on ABC one night about the last remaining Avenger, and the shitstorm that followed the revelation that he had been the one to set Loki’s entire plan into motion back in 2012 and that he went on a vigilante tirade during the five years of the blip, killing unmercilessly out of his own grief, was enough to force Clint Barton back into hiding after the last battle against Thanos.
There is no glory for the survivors, for unlike their dead brethren, their legacy isn’t set in stone yet.
So, when the world learns that Wanda Maximoff has taken an entire city hostage, Clint Barton watches from afar as SWORD calls in experts from many different fields, wondering if anyone bothered to ask the young woman how she was dealing with the intense amount of loss she’s suffered.
He murdered hundreds during the five years everyone was gone, in an effort to express his own grief, to do something to bring back those who were gone. And when he came back, the world didn’t want him anymore.
Maybe, just maybe, it should’ve been him to offer his life in Natasha’s place on Vormir.
(Or at least, that’s what he tells himself when he cries himself to sleep when he misses her).
