What a perfect way to end my day. The power of believing in your dreams is so real, people. This year, I made it part of my vision board to win an award for being a TV Presenter specifically because of my long term dream/goal of being a Media Mogul like Oprah. I NEVER worried about the HOW. Inspired stories. They are the energy vitamins will all need when we need that extra boost of fire and grit to keep our momentum. I have days that I am feeling down and uninspired that I don’t want to inspire or encourage anyone online or offline. I have learnt to not wallow in that state for a long period because I know that others need me to be at my very best in order for them to be at their very best. I remember all the people who inspire me with their lives and I tell myself that even Jesus struggled some days to stay committed to His mission yet He always found a way to do His work and fulfill His purpose on earth. Reading about Jesus inspires me. Reading about Oprah’s stories inspires me. Reading about the Williams Sisters (Serena and Venus) inspires me to get up and show up. I want my story to inspire people. I want people to know that they are not alone in their struggles in life, but we are made stronger by them when we push through and overcome them. My life is an inspired story still unfolding and I want the journey to the last page to be one that keeps you fired up and moving with contagious energy towards your success and fulfilled destiny. Regret. What a horrible and soul crushing emotion to have. If there is one thing I don’t want to ever have in my life, it is to REGRET what I did or didn’t do. I have made mistakes in my life and I have also learnt a lot and moved forward with a positive attitude instead of wallowing in bitterness, disappointment and regret. It is also given me the courage and audacious spirit to go for whatever I am truly passionate and convinced about. I will rather try and fail, then do nothing and regret.
