rapunzel wished the same thing, but she supposed it was for a different reason. for one, she wished that the sun was out and that it was a socially accepted time to just, get stuff done. to cross a couple of things off of her to-do list, to get a couple of assignments done, at a time that wouldn’t be considered crazy or a time that wouldn’t get her questioned if she’d gotten some sleep. another part of her wished it wasn’t 4 am simply because, well, she wished the sun was out. at least, if the sun was out, they could kill some time by going for a walk, or stopping into a little cafe and getting some tea or coffee and donuts. the only promise of the sun peeking through was the changing colors of the clouds and the sky, shifting from navy to dark blue to grey and bronze. despite knowing that would begin soon, it still felt too far away. “i know, i wish we could just, like, go somewhere. but nothing’s open,” she eventually spoke, starting at the ceiling with an exhale. “we could play ispy, though i don’t know how many rounds we could get in.”
